How it is calculated
The Soul Urge comes from the vowels of your full birth name and describes private motive rather than visible behaviour. Whether Y counts as a vowel depends on the system and, in Pythagorean, on its position in the word.
Here to initiate rather than inherit. Works best with a mandate that is genuinely its own, and struggles where authority is shared or vague.
One is the number of initiation. In every position it describes a preference for acting first and asking permission later, and a genuine difficulty operating under a mandate that is not its own. Its failure mode is not arrogance so much as an unwillingness to be led, which reads the same from outside. Where a chart carries several ones, that independence is settled rather than effortful — it does not need defending.
